About the Composer.
Jordan Bridges is a British-Ugandan-Kenyan Award-Winning Composer whose work operates at the intersection of cinematic scale and cultural depth.
He created the complete Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and Score for Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, one of Disney+’s landmark African animated productions. The acclaimed anthology was screened at select cinemas and showcased at the BAFTAs, introducing audiences to a bold new generation of African storytelling. Jordan’s score helped shape the sonic identity of the project, blending orchestral scale with rooted African musical language.
Jordan’s compositional voice is defined by emotional precision, architectural orchestration and modern rhythmic force. His strength lies in his ability to honour traditional tonal systems, vocal textures and percussive structures while integrating them seamlessly with Western cinematic scoring, contemporary production and global influences. A professional guitarist and composer, he has worked across the live music and performance sector as a Music Director, Arranger and Musical Consultant, helping shape live productions, artist performances and concert experiences.
His work extends beyond scoring, encompassing orchestration, songwriting, artist development, ghostwriting and music production for performers, creatives and entertainment brands internationally. Jordan has contributed to projects supporting major broadcasters and charitable initiatives, including collaborations connected with BBC Children in Need.
Recognised for his strength in thematic development, Jordan has written original themes and musical identities for directors, productions and creative teams across film, television and streaming platforms. His work includes crafting themes for drama television, Showmax productions and projects involving directors whose work has appeared on major international platforms including Netflix. Whether developing a central character theme, defining the musical language of a series, or creating emotionally resonant motifs that evolve with narrative, his approach is rooted in storytelling first.
Known for his versatility, Jordan moves comfortably between cinematic storytelling, live performance and commercial music. Whether crafting a large-scale orchestral score, arranging for a touring artist, developing original music for sync licensing, or helping shape an artist’s creative vision behind the scenes, he brings the same commitment to authenticity, musical excellence and emotional impact.
